AG Bell Nevada, Co-President
Named to National Board of Directors
The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell) recently announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors for the 2009-2012 term.
Patricia "Corrine" Altman, Holly Clark and Catharine McNally were appointed at the recent AG Bell Board of Directors meeting November 7-8, 2009, in Washington, D.C. Altman and Clark are parents of adult children who are deaf or hard of hearing who listen and talk. McNally most recently served as a junior counselor for AG Bell's Leadership Opportunities for Teens program, and has a profound hearing loss.
"These individuals represent the core of the AG Bell community in that they are tireless advocates for those who choose a listening and spoken language outcome," said AG Bell President John R. "Jay" Wyant. "Their contributions to the organization, its mission and its membership are immeasurable and they are outstanding representatives of the volunteer leadership."
