of a generous donor.

a Las Vegas 51s ballgame in July.

We had a good time, the LV 51s won

and the fireworks after the game

were incredibly fantastic!

AG Bell meets with Congressman Jon Porter

Board members, parents, a child that is deaf, two youngs adults that are deaf, and community professionals met with Congressman Jon Porter on August 14th to ask him to back the current legislative issues that pertain to the hearing impaired, to ask for his support for our local chapter of AG Bell, and to ask for any money that may be available to help our chapter.  He gave us a lot of his valuable time, and is writing us a letter of support this week!  He says we have his support, and will be looking for money for us!  We all left there crying and laughing with excitement at all that had happened!  We are very excited about all the progress we made today!
