AG Bell Nevada goes to Carson City to honor Legislature for AB250

AGBELL NV Chapter Mtg.* Wednesday, May 30^th * 6:45PM-8:30PM  We will share on our exciting trip, which took place May 21^st to meet with the Nevada Senate and Assembly, in gratitude for AB250 Newborn Hearing Screening, and in celebration of: Better Hearing & Speech Month. The opportunity is NOW, to dramatically increase the number of children with hearing loss that will learn to listen, and use spoken language to communicate.

With Early Detection in place, we must bridge the gap to increase the success of Early Intervention, so that those that make the choice, will HEAR from the START

And TALK for a LIFETIME. Come see the professionally produced video we showed to our lawmakers, that features and illustrates the results, of our AG Bell Nevada Professionals and children! SPRING FLING PICNIC!

Our spring fling picnic was a great time!  Thank you to all who helped make it a success!  The kids had a great time doing a cake walk, having a water balloon tossing contest, and the highlight! - a watermelon eating contest!  We hope you'll join us next year - or better yet, later this month at our monthly chapter meeting!

HOLIDAY FAMILY FUN NIGHT A BIG SUCCESS!

Our 1st Annual Holiday Family Fun Night was a big success!  We had many fun activities for the kids and families!  Even Santa came to visit!  Because of our generous donors (list to follow soon) we were able to raffle off a prize to nearly everyone who attended that night - parents, too!  Thank you, all, for making this such a success!  We look forward to celebrating with you all again in 2007.
